Julie has over 15 years of experience serving as a Texas Certified Public Accountant (Texas CPA). In 2017, she returned to professional accounting services after a 10-year hiatus to raise children. As such, Julie represents a relatively new and important part of the labor force. In 2021, Julie founded Whittenburg & Associates LLC and oversees its business development efforts and all aspects of its day-to-day operations.
She draws on her Big Four accounting firm experience in which she served as an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand, now PWC. Julie also draws on her 9 years of inhouse experience with one of the largest, privately owned businesses in Austin where she also managed most aspects of day-to-day business operations. Julie combines strong analytical abilities and accounting expertise with the mindset of a business owner. She understands sophisticated accounting systems and how they tie into a company’s enterprise risk management. Julie is committed to building teams and remains growth oriented.
