With over two decades of experience in corporate law and business operations, Jeff currently serves as a Senior Counsel for a multi-billion-dollar US subsidiary of a state-owned oil company. Jeff previously served as the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for a privately held oilfield services company with operations in the US and Latin America and as an associate in private practice with a highly regarded Houston business law firm. In his various roles, Jeff has collaborated with C-Suite executives, outside counsel, and business leaders to establish strategic priorities and create and implement processes that turn those priorities into reality, all while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and minimizing legal risks.
Driven by a passion for solving complex problems, Jeff has participated in various legal and business matters, including corporate governance, contracts, compliance, employment, risk management, litigation, and strategic planning. Some of his notable projects include negotiating and executing a management buy-out, creating and managing a business development team, and designing and implementing a cross-border corporate reorganization. Jeff leverages his legal knowledge and business experience to protect and advance company interests in competitive, rapidly changing environments.
